It comes after Netflix kicked off this week by sharing a first-look photo of Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown's latest series.

Colman and Bonham Carter take over the regal roles from Claire Foy and Vanessa Kirby, respectively, for seasons three and four of the big-budget drama.

They'll be joined by Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip (succeeding Matt Smith), with a strong cast of established stars and newcomers alongside them.

Ben Daniels stars as Lord Snowdon – who we've also got a first-look at, below. Jason Watkins joins as former Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Josh O'Connor as Prince Charles and Erin Doherty as Princess Anne.

Last month, Bonham Carter confessed on the Graham Norton Show that she had a whole "two weeks to prepare" for her role on The Crown.

Hinting that it's not going to be as easy as you'd think for her to take over from Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret, Helena joked that her accent is 'not posh enough' yet.

"I've got two weeks to prepare so I've got to find her character soon," she admitted. "I'm posh, but not that posh!"

The Crown season three arrives on Netflix in 2019. Seasons one and two are streaming now.
