Croydon's cheapest street to live on where homes sell for just £166k
The cheapest street to live on in Croydon has been named, where homes sell for just £166,000. According to transaction records from HM Land Registry from the last four years, average prices for properties in this Croydon street have sold for an average of just £166,166.
This is Barclay Road, in the town centre next to Fairfield Halls, where six properties have been sold and bought since January 2020. These properties have almost all been within the St Crispin House block of flats, which is one of the most distinctive tower blocks in the borough.
The next-cheapest street in Croydon is Hogarth Crescent, where properties have sold for an average of £167,650 over the last four years. Three flats were sold within Groombridge Court, while two other apartments were sold on the road, both for less than £200,000.

Campbell Road is next on the list, with properties selling for £191,361. 14 separate properties were sold during this time, indicating that there's also lots of availability on this road if you're looking for somewhere to move to soon.
These properties were in Robinson Court and Clifton House, two blocks of flats, as well as homes along the road, which has a nursery at one end.
