There's no doubt that Cruel Intentions is an iconic '90s film - and one of its most iconic moments is that kiss between Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar's characters.
Cruel Intentions without Kathryn showing Cecile how to get to first base is not really Cruel Intentions at all.
The people over at E!, however, appear to have different ideas, as a recent showing of the film on the network appeared to cut the iconic kiss out of its broadcast.
As reported by TVLine, the version E! aired was an "older", "heavily sanitised" cut of the movie - whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.
In other disappointing Cruel Intentions news, the much-anticipated TV spin-off has been scrapped by NBC.
In the pilot, we got to see the film's characters roughly 16 years later, with Annette (now played by Kate Levering) raising her and Sebastian's teenage son Bash in Ohio.
Annette then comes across Sebastian's stepsister Kathryn - reprised by Sarah Michelle Gellar - when Bash runs away to San Diego, looking to find out more about his late father.
Despite its potential, the network decided not to go ahead with a full series, after reports that it already had too many shows on its midseason roster. Boo.
It's not all bad, though. Sony TV Pictures, the studio behind the TV reboot, is still reportedly on the look-out for a new network.
In the meantime, why not check out 10 incredible facts about Cruel Intentions the movie. They're way more shocking than any kiss.
