Cruise ship Marina Oceania arrives in Liverpool
Cruise ship Marina Oceania has arrived in Liverpool. The ship, which has 633 cabins across 11 decks, has berthed at Liverpool Cruise Terminal today, Thursday, September 5. The cruise liner, operated by Oceania Cruises, is seven days into a 12 day, round-trip Scotland and Ireland cruise.
Marina Oceania set off from Southampton on August 29, before heading to Scotland, Belfast, Liverpool, Dublin and Cork before arriving back in Southampton on September 10.
Designed by Norwegian firm Yran & Storbraatenhe, the cruise ship made her debut in 2011. Marina Oceania measures 66,000 tons and 784.95 ft, and carries a maximum of 2100 guests. The ship boats six restaurants, two of which are gourmet (Jacques, a French restaurant, and Red Ginger serves Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine).

It has joined a long list of other ships that have docked in Liverpool over the last weeks, including Azamara Quest, Viking Sky and Rotterdam.
