Yahoo News The Crystal Maze fans jump on Judy Murray's failures
Tonight (June 22) brought us another episode of Richard Ayoade's The Crystal Maze; riddled with the Maze Master's whimsical spirit and top-notch contestants, this was as entertaining as gameshows get.
Featuring more celebrities this week: Judy Murray (Andy Murray's mum and tennis coach), Wayne Bridge (former professional footballer), Rachel Riley (Countdown maths favourite), Charlotte Crosby (reality TV star) and David Weir (decorated Paralympian), the maze was populated by a group with fantastic potential.
But with Judy falling victim to the tasks on a couple of occasions, getting locked away as a result, Twitter typists were quick to react to her onscreen failures. Some viewers were branding her the 'worst contestant ever' and called for an end to her reality TV appearances.

Almost something of a cult icon in the modern world, Rachel's fans were singing her praises online tonight, highlighting her charitable work and onscreen heroics. The Maze Master was also keeping her on her toes throughout the episode, with his constant off-the-cuff mathematical questions.

Tonight's edition of the gameshow proved to be a huge success for all the contestants overall, who raised approximately £10,000 for Stand Up to Cancer.
The Crystal Maze airs on Channel 4.
