Roy Hodgson will hope to win his first match since taking the reins at Crystal Palace and simultaneously pull the club out of their miserable slump when Huddersfield visit on Tuesday night.

The Eagles have lost their opening five Premier League matches without scoring a goal, and were thumped 3-0 by Tuesday night's opponents at Selhurst Park on the opening day of the campaign.

Hodgson has succeeded axed boss Frank de Boer since that disappointing thrashing and will welcome another opportunity to correct Palace's form so soon after defeat against Southampton on Saturday.

Palace will be boosted by the return of Pape Souare, who has recovered from a career-threatening car crash, and Mamadou Sakho.
