Crystal Palace XI vs Burnley: Latest team news, predicted lineup and injury list for Premier League match

Crystal Palace are hoping star man Wilfried Zaha will be fit to face Burnley this evening as Roy Hodgson deals with an injury crisis during the season run-in.

The Eagles talisman suffered a calf problem in the warm-up at Liverpool this week and lasted just 15 minutes before hobbling off.

Zaha was undergoing treatment on Saturday and did not train with the rest of Hodgson's squad.

There are also doubts over striker Christian Benteke, while Hodgson is confident that first-choice goalkeeper Vicente Guaita will be able to return for the Premier League clash against Burnley at Selhurst Park having sat out the trip to Anfield.

“We don’t know that yet – we’ve still got two days and he was having treatment this morning," Hodgson said of Zaha. “He didn’t take part in training of course.

"We are still hopeful that [in] these next couple of days will see him recover from the minor injury he picked up in the warm-up and we are leaving the door open because we’d really like him to play.

“The team we played against Bournemouth - with Zaha and Benteke alongside Jordan Ayew - played so well and gave us such a threat.

"When suddenly two of those players are missing from the starting lineup it makes a difference. Very few teams can take two players of that quality out of their starting lineup and be as good.”
