Customer stabbed inside pharmacy taken to Royal Stoke with 'serious injuries'
A man stabbed in a city pharmacy sustained 'serious injuries'. Now detectives are hunting a gang-of-three after the incident at Tunstall's Day Night Pharmacy yesterday.
StokeonTrentLive had reported how emergency services were called to Furlong Road to reports of a stabbing at around 4.35pm. Subsequently a cordon went up at the junction with Greengates Street as officers remained at the scene into the night.
Today the force revealed how the victim, a customer at the pharmacy, had suffered injuries to his head and face. The casualty, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital.

West Midlands Ambulance Service say he sustained 'serious injuries'.
A spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Furlong Road. We sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a man who they treated for serious injuries before conveying him to hospital."
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses - and have released descriptions of the suspects.
A spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports that a man had been stabbed inside a pharmacy on Furlong Road. A man in his 20s sustained injuries to his head and face. He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening."
The spokeswoman added: "The suspects are described as three Asian males with two wearing balaclavas. One was described as stocky and the other two were younger and of average build. We urge anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us."
