Cyclist killed in crash with bus in East London

A cyclist has been killed following a collision with a bus in East London in the early hours of Saturday morning, the Met Police has stated. The road traffic accident occurred on Westferry Road, near Arnhem Place on the Isle of Dogs, after midnight, with emergency services called to the scene at around 12.30am.

The male cyclist, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has yet to be named by police as officers attempt to track down his next of kin. No arrests have been made and the driver of the bus was reported to have stopped at the scene.
