Cyclist seriously injured in Cambridge crash with driver failing to stop
A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Cambridge on Sunday night (November 24). Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after the crash in Fulbourn Road.
Officers and paramedics were called to the crash near the Peterhouse Technology Park, at about 6.20pm last night. A black BMW had been involved in a crash with a green e-bike.
The driver did not stop at the scene and the car was later found abandoned in nearby Limekiln Road. The e-bike rider, a 45-year-old woman from Fulbourn, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital suffering from serious injuries. She remains in hospital.

A 32-year-old man, from Cambridge, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at a road traffic collision, and perverting the course of justice. He has been released on bail until Sunday, January 8.
Detective Sergeant Craig Wheeler, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision, or who may have seen the black BMW heading towards Limekiln Road, especially if you have any dashcam footage at the time."
