Cyclist seriously injured after dirt bike drivers knock him off in Mickleham

A cyclist has been seriously injured after dirt bike drivers knocked him off in Mickleham. On Wednesday, May 29 at around 7.20pm, the victim was riding along the cycle path on the A24 in Mickleham.

He was pushed from his bike by the riders of a dirt bike, according to police. The bike then passed him and made off towards the roundabout, where it took the first exit onto the Leatherhead Road.

The cyclist is currently in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

In a statement, Surrey Police said: "We are looking to speak to any witnesses who may have witnessed all of part of this incident, and we are also looking to identify the two riders of the dirt bike. The driver has been described as a White male, of medium build, wearing a dark grey hoodie, navy trousers, and a balaclava.

"The passenger has also been described as a White male of large build with dark hair, wearing a dark jacket, grey trousers, and black trainers. Were you in the Mickleham area around the cycle path of the A24 just before the roundabout that connects the A24 to Leatherhead Road on Wednesday night between 7.15pm and 7.30pm?
