Cyclist taken to hospital with injuries after Billingham hit-and-run

A cyclist was was taken to hospital following a hit and run collision in Billingham.

The incident happened around 5.45am on Monday, October 14 on the Billingham bypass road roundabout, close to the Tesco garage. The 39-year-old male cyclist collided with a small, white vehicle.

He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries to his hand and bruising. The driver did not stop at the scene.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 197125. Footage can also be uploaded directly here.
