Dad who copies his daughter's Instagram selfies now has twice as many followers as her
A father who parodies his daughter’s Instagram selfies now has twice as many followers as her.
Chris Burr Martin, 48, mocks his daughter Cassie’s poses for the camera and even wears similar clothes and draws on tattoos.
He started the trend in a bid to prevent her from posting sexy selfies, and to let some of her male followers know he was watching.

But now his Instagram account has taken on a life of its own.
Daughter Cassie, 20, may have 33,000 followers on Instagram, but her dad has more than 60,000.
The father-of-three from Washington had only 49 followers when he started mocking her poses.
“She’d been on Instagram for longer than me by far, until recently I barely even understood Facebook,” he said.
“No way did I expect such a big reaction, if I’d have known that people all over the world would have seen the photos, I would have at least drawn the tattoos better.
“I wanted to bring attention to her that they may be a little racy and I wanted to let some of the people in her comment section know her dad was watching because some of the comments, especially from boys, were pretty vulgar.
“She’s over 18 so she could do what she wanted to a point but also, fighting with some of the commenters over the internet would have been a crazy thing to do.”
Cassie said: “He wanted to show me what I looked like in his own way to prove I was showing too much skin or being a little too risque in my photos.
“It was a real shock he doubled my numbers in such little time.
“I do think a little more about which photos I post now because I know certain photos can never be erased on the internet and certain people will see it.”
