The neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer has changed its hosting arrangements yet again after a brief spell on the dark net.

The site is now based in Russia, having been dropped by GoDaddy and Google following the Charlottesville, Virginia riot on Saturday.

Its editors have welcomed Donald Trump's comments in the wake of violence that saw one woman killed and dozens injured, while one article insulted the 32-year-old victim, Heather Heyer.

Mr Trump's equivocal response led to the publication of a piece specifically thanking the President.

The extra attention on far-right and white supremacist attitudes has increased visibility for the site, which has claimed that recent events are "the greatest thing that’s ever happened to us".

Elsewhere online Apple has blocked its Apple Pay feature for some sites selling white supremacist apparel, while the company's CEO Tim Cook hit out at Mr Trump's comments.

Squarespace, a website-building company, said it would pull the plug on "a group of sites".
