Daisy Lowe spoke about her romance with Jordan Saul as she said she is taking a boyfriend home for Christmas for the first time.

The model, 32, has been in a relationship with the estate agent since June last year after sparks flew when they met while walking their dogs on Hampstead Heath.

Speaking to the Standard about her Christmas plans, Lowe said she and Saul were going to her mother’s house in Frome, Somerset.

She said: “I will be taking my boyfriend home for Christmas which is a first, I have never taken anyone home for Christmas before.

“But no, there will be no pressure.”

Lowe - the daughter of the singer-songwriter turned designer Pearl Lowe and rock star Gavin Rossdale - has previously dated actor Matt Smith and singer Jack Penate.

Lowe also spoke about what she wanted for Christmas. She said: “I don’t want anything, I don’t need anything, I don’t want the waste - I want to think about the planet. I just want the time to spend together. I just want some old lady presents, like bath salts and scented candles. Yes I am 32, but I act like an 80 year old and I am proud of that.”

The campaigner said she was determined to get into shape in the new year following months of inactivity due to Covid-19.

“I want to get really fit again,” she said. “I feel like the pandemic has taken its toll and I am excited to get fit this year. I know that when I exercise, mentally I am happier. But any sort of going to the gym, I find it really difficult and I need some serious talking to.”

Recently, the model, who has partnered with Deliveroo and KFC, was seen enjoying a night out in London in a robe adorned with a gravy boat monogram. She said: “It is now 100 per cent acceptable to leave the house in loungewear. So I went out in some loungewear that was covered in gravy boats. We did have such a giggle.”

But Lowe said she still enjoyed the excuse to get glamorous, adding: “It is a real joy to dress up and put some good make-up on. It is all about balance.”
