Dakota Johnson says guest-starring on the series finale of 'The Office' was 'the worst time of my life': 'No one wanted to talk to me'
Dakota Johnson said that she didn't have a great experience filming the series finale of "The Office."
"That was honestly the worst time of my life," the actor said on "Late Night With Seth Meyers."
Johnson said there were "weird dynamics" on set and people didn't want to talk to her.
Dakota Johnson said that she had an unpleasant experience when she guest-starred on the final episode of "The Office."
"That was honestly the worst time of my life," Johnson said during an appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" on Wednesday.
"I loved that show so much and they were like, 'Do you want to be in the series finale?' And I was like, 'Of course,' thinking that I'd show up for like, half a day," Johnson continued. "And I was there for two weeks. And I'm barely in the fucking show."
Johnson had a minor role in the finale of NBC's hit mockumentary sitcom as Dakota, who replaced Dunder Mifflin Paper Company accountant Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) after he got fired.
Being an enthusiastic newcomer appearing on the series finale episode of a show wrapping its ninth season was strange, Johnson said.
"They were sad and there were weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years," Johnson said. "Some people didn't speak to each other. And I'm coming in like, 'So excited to be here!' And no one wanted to talk to me. Nobody gave a fuck."
"Sorry, I'm swearing so much," she told Meyers. "It's because I had a glass of champagne."
Johnson previously opened up about her brief time on "The Office" in a 2022 interview with Vanity Fair.
"I felt like I was crashing someone's birthday party when they actually didn't mean to invite me, like they did it just to be like, 'Yeah sure, come!' And then I was stuck there," she said.
