Damian Green calls anti-Brexit protester a 'w***ker' for shouting over interview

Theresa May’s former deputy Damian Green has lashed out at an anti-Brexit protester, branding him a “w***er”.

Damian Green lashed out at pro-EU demonstrator Steve Bray after a TV interview about Brexit.

Bray – who has spent most days outside Parliament yelling “stop Brexit” – later posted footage of the exchange online.

In the clip, posted on Twitter, Mr Green is asked: “Hello can I ask how you’re feeling about the vote yesterday?”

He replies: “No you can’t because you have just tried to shout over an interview I have done like you do everyone else.”

He added: “In a competitive field you’re the biggest w***ker.”
