BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker has started a new feud with Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan on Twitter.
It's the third time this month the two grown men have taken shots at each other on social media, and this time it was over a most talked about TV shows list.
On Twitter, Piers shared a photo of The Times' list of Britain's most-discussed shows and wrote: "ICYMI: @GMB is 3rd most talked about show on British TV. No sign of @BBCBreakfast or @BBCMOTD. #awks cc @mrdanwalker @GaryLineker."
Last week you were ‘celebrating’ coming a distant 2nd in the ratings to #BBCbreakfast and now you’re happy with 3rd 😳- Dan Walker (@mrdanwalker) December 11, 2018
If you had standards... they’d be slipping 😂🥉
You’re like a televisual Wenger 👍🏻 https://t.co/wM61SpCr0P
(And in case you're wondering, Love Island came out on top with Question Time in second place.)
Responding to Piers, Dan tweeted: "Last week you were ‘celebrating’ coming a distant 2nd in the ratings to #BBCbreakfast and now you’re happy with 3rd. If you had standards... they’d be slipping. You’re like a televisual Wenger."
Their latest exchange comes just days after Piers revealed GMB's year-on-year ratings on Twitter, showing they had gained viewers, while BBC Breakfast (which still has more viewers) had lost a percentage of their audience.
Dan then responded to Piers, telling him: "In summary, ITV have spent a fortune.
"You advertise like there’s no tomorrow. You make it all about you while we are a team. The wonderful fella before me had done the job for 15 years... And we still get double your audience."
The pair also clashed earlier this month after BBC Breakfast suffered a technical fail that pulled them off the air.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV, while BBC Breakfast airs from 6am on BBC One.
