Dancing on Ice 2019 might seem a long way away, but series 11 line-up rumours have already started doing the rounds.

Here's everything we know so far about the return of the much-loved skating show...

Dancing on Ice 2019 start date: When is it coming back?

An exact date has not yet been confirmed (well, it is a little early) but the show usually starts on the first weekend of January. If the new series follows the same pattern, then we'd expect it to hit our TV screens on Sunday 6 January.

Following a successful series earlier in the year, ITV could hardly wait to announce plans for the next one.

Presenter Phillip Schofield told fans on This Morning: "A word about our other show, Dancing on Ice. We can exclusively announce that it has been rebooked, recommissioned, re-bought for another series next year."

Who? TV presenter.

What's the rumour? Schofield admitted that he's been "hounding" Rylan to take part.

"He's a really good skater and he's such a great guy," the host told What's On TV. "He'd be about 20 foot tall but he'd be brilliant and so funny but he won't do it, he says, 'It's too hard, I'll hurt myself.'

"I keep pestering him."

Yes, please do, Schofe.

Who? Coronation Street star.

What's the rumour? 2018 finalist Brooke Vincent told Digital Spy that her co-star might like to try her skates on.

"Jane Danson said she might have a go," the actor said earlier this year. "I told Lucy Fallon she should have a go as well."

Who? Politician and leader of the Scottish National Party.

What's the rumour? During a segment on Scotland Tonight, the MP revealed that, out of all the reality TV shows, Dancing on Ice is the one that she would fancy doing the most.

And Phil was paying attention, as he soon retweeted the clip.

What's the rumour? This one comes from The Sun. It was heavily rumoured that Pricey would be appearing on last year's celebrity line-up, but it never transpired. Apparently though, Katie is keen to make it work this year.

Whilst nothing official has been released, it would be more than fair to assume that Holly and Phil will be coming back as presenters of the new series - especially as news of the show's recommission was announced on This Morning.

"We will be back next year," Schofe said at the time.
