Dancing on Ice 2025 line-up rumours as Traitors, Hollyoaks and Olympic stars linked

With the new series of Strictly Come Dancing now in full swing and I'm A Celebrity not far away, Dancing on Ice will be back on screen soon and the rumour mill has already thrown up plenty of names as potential contestants for the new series.

It was back in 2006 that Dancing on Ice first launched on ITV, with ex Coronation Street star Gaynor Faye its first champion. Since then, a whole host of famous faces have taken home the trophy, including Ray Quinn, Suzanne Shaw, Beth Tweddle and Hayley Tammadon. Since it returned in 2018, stars like Joe Swash, Jake Quickenden and last year's champion, Ryan Thomas, have all topped the vote and now celebs from all areas of the entertainment industry are being linked with a stint on the rink.

Last year, the line-up for Dancing on Ice was announced in the autumn, meaning it shouldn't be too long until we start to find out the identities of the celebs competing in a few months time.

The Faithful who was deceived by best mate Harry on The Traitors earlier this year and ended up storming off camera as she found out he'd been lying to her, Mollie is 1/4 to be on Dancing on Ice, according to betting experts Gambling.com.

Ferne McCann

The former TOWIE star and I'm A Celebrity finalist is another star who is said to have signed up to the new series, with her odds at 2/7.

An insider commented: "“It’s been a rough few years for Ferne but she has always been an ITV star, with her roots on Towie and then with her first steps into the mainstream on I’m A Celebrity in 2015. So Dancing on Ice will be a chance for her to knuckle down, work hard and win over the public."

Dan Edgar

Speaking of TOWIE, Dan Edgar, whose split from co-star Amber Turner made headlines, is also being linked to Dancing on Ice 2025.

He is currently on screen in the new series of the long-running ITV show, where viewers have seen his romance with Ella Wise go from strength to strength.

Josh Oyinsan

While Ciaran and Nicole were the big favourites to win Love Island this year, it ended up being Josh and other half Mimii Ngulube who topped the public vote in the final.

And now 29-year-old footballer Josh is on odds of 10/3 to do Dancing on Ice, with Nicole and Ciaran also figuring in the odds on Evens and 11/10 respectively. Mimi is in the mix too on the exact same odds as Josh.

Tom Daley

Following his retirement from diving after the Paris 2024 Olympics, Tom has seen his name put in the frame for both I'm A Celebrity 2024 line-up and Dancing on Ice.

He is a 2/1 tip to get his skates on.

Kelly Brook

The ex Big Breakfast host is on 3/1.

Shona McGarty

Since her character Whitney bid an emotional farewell in EastEnders a few months ago, soap star Shona was put in the frame for Strictly and, after that didn't happen, is now being talked up as a Dancing on Ice contestant.

Her first job since quitting the BBC soap was to star in the Irish run of hit West End thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story.

Linford Christie

The former Olympic champion from Barcelona 1992 has been back in the spotlight this year thanks to his fly on the wall BBC documentary, which covered the highs, lows and controversy of his athletics career.

Like other stars on the list, Linford has I'm A Celebrity experience, having gone into the jungle in 2010.

Dina Asher-Smith

Linford isn't the only 100m sprinter rumoured for Dancing on Ice, with Dina, a former World and European champion and Olympic medallist also in the mix.

After ending her season on a high in the Diamond League, she is on 7/1 to take part.
