Yahoo News Dancing on Ice defends Vanessa Bauer after "icy" accusations
Dancing on Ice has come to the defence of professional skater Vanessa Bauer after reports claimed she was being "icy".
Vanessa is paired with Wes Nelson this series, and has already been embroiled in controversy after the Love Island star's girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson hit out at her.
Well, according to The Mirror, Vanessa's behaviour behind-the-scenes has been branded as "icy" – claims that the show has now disputed.
"This could not be further from the truth" a representative from ITV told Digital Spy. "Vanessa has never shown anything other than courtesy and respect towards the production staff."
Meanwhile, Vanessa's apparent beef with Megan started after the latter accused her of a "tactical" break-up with her then-boyfriend before the series.
The pro has not addressed the claims directly yet, though Megan recently reflected on the awkward situation and admitted she herself was "jealous".

"If you're gonna spend three months with someone, 10 hours a day, it would just be natural [to speak to their partner]," she said on Loose Women. "As a woman, she should have reached out to me and introduced herself to me."
Dancing on Ice returns this Sunday (January 27) at 6pm on ITV.
