'Dancing On Ice' viewers claim show is 'fixed' as Phillip Schofield 'predicted' Gemma Collins exit
Dancing On Ice viewers are complaining that the show is ‘fixed’, claiming that Phillip Schofield foreshadowed Gemma Collins’ exit from the show last week.
The polarising star of The Only Way Is Essex bowed out of the show last night, following news that she fell twice on the ice during rehearsals on Sunday.
Judge Jason Gardiner said as he handed down his verdict: “It is very easy for me to say this. And it gives me great pleasure to say I will be saving Ryan and Brandee.”
But viewers of the show considered a comment from host Schofield appeared to prove that the show is rigged.
During ‘fairytale week’ last week, Schofield told the reality star following her routine ‘you’ve got next week as well’.
Rather than interpreting that as a vote of confidence in the amateur skater, which is more than likely what he meant, some seemed to think he meant that she only had one week left on the show, and that she’d be exiting the following week.
And when she bowed out last night, that comment seemed to confirm such claims.
Tweeted on viewer: “I tweeted last week that she would go this week! Why? Because Schofield said so! Just shows it’s a f**king disgraceful fix! #dancingonice.”
Others weighed in too.
Funny how last week @Schofe said Gemma ‘had another week left’ and now she gets eliminated. If that’s not a fix I dunno what is 🤔 #DancingOnIce #itvatitagain #itv #fix

Collins lost out to cricketer Ryan Sidebottom in the skate-off last night, following a bumpy ride on the ITV show.
She fell on the ice in her second week on the show, leading to extensive bruising and phsyiotherapy needed on her knee.
Collins even employed a ‘shaman’ to rid the ice rink of bad vibes last week, though it appears the efforts were fruitless.
