Dancing On Ice contestant Caprice Bourret has returned to training after she parted ways with professional Hamish Gaman.

During Sunday (January 19) night’s show, the broadcaster confirmed that Bourret, 48, would not be appearing on that episode as she had “parted ways” with her skating partner.

Gaman, 36, still took part in the group dance at the start of the show.

“Unfortunately, Caprice and Hamish have parted ways,” a statement from the broadcaster confirmed.

“As you saw in our opening number Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week.”

A report from The Sun then claimed that the pair’s relationship “became more strained” during training as the model “felt [Gaman] was pushing her too hard.”

“She felt he could have been more patient and they ended up having a big row,” a source told the paper.

However, an ITV insider has shut down the claims, telling the Mirror that the reports are "completely untrue" and that a row had not taken place.

An official statement from the broadcaster also confirmed that the star is continuing to train for the show and is "working towards" a comeback on Sunday.

“We’re pleased to say that Caprice is back on the ice today in training and very much working towards returning to the show on Sunday night," it read.

ITV is yet to confirm Bourret’s new skating partner.

Dancing On Ice continues on ITV on Sunday January 26.
