Two Palm Beach County firefighters suffered burns after an explosive backdraft pushed them out of the doorway of a home in West Palm beach, Florida, on March 6.
The department explained that the backdraft was ignited when firefighters opened the front door, causing a rush of fresh oxygen to the fire in the garage where the heated gasses combusted.
As seen in this video, the injured firefighters immediately returned and kept fighting the fire. They were eventually relieved by backup and taken to the hospital to be treated for minor burns. Credit: Palm Beach County Fire Rescue via Storyful
