Danielle Lloyd hits back at 'dirty face' comments as she admits pregnancy health issues

Danielle Lloyd has put cruel internet trolls in their place after she was targeted for having a “dirty face” in the latest paparazzi pictures of her.

The pregnant star has now hit back at the critics, revealing that her patchy skin is actually the result of a pregnancy-related health issue and is not something that she should be ashamed of.

Posting a photo of both the pap picture and a close-up of her face, Danielle wrote: “Absolutely disgusted at some of the comments about my skin!!! ‘I look filthy’, ‘I look dirty’, ‘I need a good wash’, well you should all be ashamed of yourselves my skin is like this cos I have melasma (pregnancy mask), it can’t be helped.

“It’s hormonal and [I] am not ashamed of it – a lot of pregnant women get it.

“Again, some horrible trolls think it’s ok to put down a pregnant woman, well it’s not!! I use factor 50 on my face and still get it!

“These trolls need to be educated [I] am not ashamed to show the real me.”

Danielle, who is eight months pregnant with her fourth child, was soon inundated with support from her fans, with one writing: “You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone! You look so lovely and just think of your new precious bundle on the way.”

Another added: “Thank you for sharing this, I’ve had this all the way through my pregnancy! On my forehead, round my lips, and its awful what people say!”

This baby will be Danielle’s first with her fiance Michael O’Neill, and her fourth boy – with the star also being mum to seven-year-old Archie, six-year-old Harry, and three-year-old George with her footballer ex-husband Jamie O’Hara.
