Ahead of her appearance on Channel 5's In Therapy next week, Danielle Lloyd has opened up about being sexually assaulted back when she was only 13 years old.

According to The Mirror, Lloyd revealed that the assault happened at the hands of a skiing instructor while on holiday.

"He dragged me into one of the cubicles," she explained. "I can still feel his hands on me. I can remember him grabbing me, the smell, the colours, I don't think it will ever leave me.

"It was just so horrible, even talking about it now really upsets me. He got me into the cubicle and shut the door.

"He touched me. I kicked and screamed and I fought him off me."

She continued: "I've never been so scared. I managed to get the cubicle door open and I ran, crying myself to sleep in the dorm. I dread to think what else he'd have done if I hadn't fought him off.

"That predator took my innocence away and I can never get it back. It's affected the way I've been in relationships, my self esteem, everything.

"To prey on a girl of 13 years old, you know what you're doing. It's not acceptable, it makes me feel physically sick.

"I felt so ashamed, so worthless. I thought I'd done something to deserve it, that I wanted it to happen. But no one deserves to be sexually assaulted."

Danielle has previously opened up about the domestic violence she suffered at the hands of an ex-partner when she was a teenager. It's believed she will be talking further about the experience, as well as the skiing assault on In Therapy.

Back in 2009, Danielle also opened up about her experiences for a BBC Three documentary about domestic violence in teen relationships, saying: "Deep down you can't forget what's happened no matter how much counselling you have. You blame yourself."

Danielle's episode of In Therapy airs Wednesday (January 25) on Channel 5 at 10pm.
