Model Danielle Lloyd says she plans to go abroad for illegal gender reassignment treatment in order to have baby girl.

The controversial comments came when Lloyd, 34, claimed to OK! Magazine that she intended to undergo the treatment that allows parents to pick what sex their child will be.

‘We want to do gender selection. I’ve been honest about the fact that I’d really like a little girl,’ said the mother of four sons.

She and fiancé Michael O’Neill recently gave birth to 9-month-old Ronnie, and she already has three sons, Archie, 7, Harry, 6, and George, 4, with former husband Jamie O’Hara with whom she split from in 2014.

‘I would regret it if I got to 50 and didn’t have a daughter, and I don’t want to have any regrets, so I’m going to do it,’ Lloyd said about her desire to have a girl.

‘We did think I was pregnant,’ speaking about the recent revelation of doing a pregnancy test only to discover otherwise. ‘But I have polycystic ovaries and then endometriosis when I’m ovulating, which makes me swell up so I look and feel like I’m pregnant.’

Despite giving birth to her fourth child in September, she says she’d like another as soon as possible. ‘If we did have another one I’d like it quite soon, I wouldn’t want to be pregnant at 40 and it’s nice for the kids to be close in age.’

It seems Lloyd and other half Michael are adamant on having a girl the next time around and even thought about the idea after they’d barely welcoming Ronnie into the world: ‘When you’re in labour you think, “never again”, but just a few days later you’re thinking about having more!’

‘Having Ronnie has made me and Michael more of a unit, more complete as a family, and I think another baby, a little girl especially, would only cement that more.’
