Danielle Lloyd has detailed how her sons helped raise the alarm after she experienced a "scary" collapse at home that saw her taken to hospital.

The 37-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her fifth child, praised her sons' "quick thinking" after she passed out.

At the time, Lloyd was home alone with Archie, 11, Harry, 10, George, seven, and three-year-old Ronnie.

"It was really traumatic. I was at home alone with the kids and I got terrible pains in my tummy," she told OK!. "I went to the toilet and I fell and passed out, it was so scary."

"Thank God my kids were so quick thinking. They went and knocked at our neighbours' and called an ambulance. I can't thank them enough."

"I had really low blood pressure, I was so worried for the baby and it was obviously so terrifying for the boys, but I'm so proud of them."

Lloyd added that the hospital did multiple health checks and the baby girl she is expecting is "fine".

It's the second child for the former model and her second husband Michael O'Neill who is father to her son Ronnie.

She shares her eldest three boys with ex-husband, footballer Jamie O'Hara whom she split from in 2014.

Lloyd has ruled out having any more children once her daughter is born, stating her family is "complete".

She's made no secret of her desire to have a baby girl as she and O'Neill had planned on going to Dubai to undergo gender selection, which is banned in the UK, before she fell pregnant.
