“Sleep well My Bruno Bear.”

The actor added the hashtag “RIP Bruno” to her moving post.

Sharing a picture of him earlier this year, she introduced fans to her “new baby”, saying he was 12 years old and that anyone thinking of getting a dog should consider rescuing one.

“I adore him,” she added.

Westbrook’s fans expressed their condolences after she shared her sad news.

“I feel for u x,” tweeted one person, while others posted heart emojis.

Another of her followers posted: “I can’t imagine how painful it must be for you, I know when I’ve lost my cats in the past I’ve been devastated for days, glad I have pictures of them to look back on but I still miss them every day, they are family members.
