Westbrook is set to take on the role of the Fairy Godmother in this year's West End production of Sinderfella, which is London's longest-running adult panto.
It will be her first acting credit since her brief return to Albert Square as Sam Mitchell in 2016.

The 49-year-old has spoken openly about the toll her appearance has taken on her self esteem in recent years, which has been the trigger for her to get more surgery.
She sustained severe facial damage as a result of her addiction, including the complete erosion of her nasal septum due to cocaine use.
Westbrook told The Sun earlier this year: "I’ve got to a point where looking like this upsets me, so I’m going to make a change — not because of what others think but so I can be happy with the way I am.
"It will change the way I look but also help my breathing and sinus issues."

The star has confessed to first taking cocaine at the age of just 14 and appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2019 to discuss her addiction, subsequently spending three month in rehab.
She has since said she believes the intervention of Kyle saved her life.
Westbrook rose to fame when she joined the cast of EastEnders as a teenager in the role of Sam Mitchell.
She played the role across two stints between 1990 and 1996 before she was dismissed due to the impact her addiction was having on her work.
