He may have only briefly dated Katie Price back in 2011, but the fall out of their fling has haunted Danny Cipriani since.

Their short lived romance came to an abrupt end after Katie found the rugby player in bed with another woman.
His flatmate had let her in and she discovered Danny, ahem, entertaining a young lady. Bet that flatmate was popular.
Katie got her revenge in her tell-all autobiography Love, Lipstick and Lies where she revealed her nickname for him was ‘Danny Chipolata’.

Danny, clearly a bigger man than many in others ways, has forgiven his tormentor. Speaking to The Sun, he said: “She was cool, but it wasn’t anything major and then it was written about in her books later on"
He continues: “I have no ill feeling towards that and it’s just how it is. At the time, it was frustrating.”
Danny also reveals how they met. “When I was younger she was that pin - the hot girl of the moment. When I met her she seemed really nice and we hung out for a couple of weeks with a group of friends.”

The Mirror found the passage in the book where the former glamour girl describes the moment she walked into his bedroom.
“‘Hiya,’ I said — sounding calm even though I felt anything but.
”'Danny,’ I said, sounding more together than I was feeling, 'I want you to know that I forgive you, but I never forget.’”
And she didn’t, adding.“In my experience he was a bit – erm – lean in the most obvious departments.
“That’s why I nicknamed him Danny Chipolata. He can no longer hit the right spots on the rugby field and he certainly can’t find them on a woman.”
Oof. Don’t ever get on the wrong side of Katie Price, gents.
