Danny Dyer Discovers Royal Relations During ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’

Danny Dyer has discovered royal relations in his family and they stretch further than Walford’s Queen Vic.

Filming an episode of BBC documentary ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, which features celebrities tracing their roots and discovering hidden family connections, Danny found he was descended from a famous royal.

Who exactly that is, though, is of course being kept quiet until the show airs.

The Mirror reports that the show’s researchers discovered the link to a ‘legendary figure’ while tracing the actor’s family history, which saw them look into his childhood of poverty and the crime in London’s East End.

A TV insider told them: “People will be flabbergasted to discover the famous royal Danny is descended from.

“When he found out he could hardly believe it himself. It makes for some gripping television.”
