There’s bad news if you were hoping to see Danny Dyer waltzing around the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor, as the actor has admitted that he’s not up for popping on his dancing shoes.

Oh, go on Danny!

The EastEnders actor appeared on Good Morning Britain with Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid, who asked him how Kellie Bright was getting on after the show.

Kellie made it to the final of 2015′s Strictly, but missed out on the glitterball trophy, with The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness being crowned the winner.

Danny admitted that he thought the EastEnders actress had been ‘robbed’, telling Ben and Susanna: “She’s absolutely beautiful. She’s bang on there. Robbed. Of course [I’m proud of her]. She’s brilliant, absolutely brilliant.”

Asked if he’d be up for donning sequins and getting involved in the show, he initially joked that he would be taking part in the next series.

However, he then said: “Nah, I’m too lazy, darling. I’d rather just lay down.”

When Ben then reminded him that he’d said he’d be up for Ninja Warrior, Danny replied: “I’ll do Ninja Warrior, yeah. 13 weeks of mincing about? No thanks.”

Maybe Kellie will be able to convince him.
