The Darkness, famous for their out of this world music videos and songs, are back with some very #relatable #content, and we're all here for it.

The rock band, fronted by the effortlessly charismatic Justin Hawkins, have taken all those gripes about the increasingly pricey (and increasingly rubbish?) service on privately owned public transport and put them into a two-minute, 50-second song.

Cancellations, late trains, awful smells and more... it's there in 'Southern Trains (are Officially awful, Official Video)':

Not only is the song hilarious, but it's actually really catchy. Rock music isn't exactly bothering the singles charts right now, sadly, but we can imagine this could be a regular chant-a-thon at student nights (or, you know, at train stations).

'Southern Trains' is available as an 'instant grat' download for pre-ordering the band's fifth studio album, Pinewood Smile.

The album, which comes out on October 6, is the group's first to feature Rufus Taylor - the son of Queen's Roger Taylor, who joined in 2015 - drumming in the recording sessions.

The group have already released two singles to support the album, 'Solid Gold' (which is also really, really good) and 'All The Pretty Girls' (which is just alright):

The group have also been filming a feature-length documentary over the last year or so, which we're very much looking forward to.
