Darlington house with shattered front door taped off by police after incident
A house with a shattered front door has been taped off by police after an incident.
The property on the corner of Victoria Road and Bedford Street, close to Darlington Railway Station, has been cordoned off by officers today, with blue and white police tape strewn around a lampost and pavement bollards.
The cordon stretches around the house and into a back lane, as police officers remain present.

Durham Constabulary is yet to comment on the matter and no details have been released. Pictures from the scene on Sunday morning show a broken door with smashed glass strewn across the ground.
What appears to be blood can also be seen on the door frame, on the pavement near to the building and leading into the back alley.
ChronicleLive has contacted the North East Ambulance Service for comment.
