Dash Cam Footage Shows Palm Beach Deputy Crashing Into Car at 104 MPH

Dash cam footage released before his upcoming trial shows the moment a Palm Beach deputy crashed into another vehicle while going 104 mph in Palm Beach, Florida, on May 27, 2016.

Deputy Brandon Hegele was charged with reckless driving after the crash left the other driver with a brain injury, fractured skull, a broken arm, back, ribs and pelvis, according to the Sun Sentinel, who cited court documents.

Hegele’s trial is scheduled to start on August 28.
