Nuneaton will feature on the ITV Tonight show's Christmas special in a matter of days. Crews were spotted filming in Queens Road yesterday (November 27).

They had set up stall during the town's Wednesday market. Now CoventryLive can reveal what they were doing in town and when the show will hit TV screens.

The Christmas Special is set to be shown on ITV1 on Thursday, December 5. It is called 'Unwrapped: Christmas Costs and Cons'. A section of the series' Christmas special will feature locals who took part in the filming in Nuneaton.

It focuses on the potential of being scammed and how to avoid this happening. CoventryLive understands that that it included a stunt.

On the market stall, there was a sign saying 'Free Christmas presents'. But the nature of the stunt has yet to be revealed. The show is set to air at 8.30pm on Thursday, December 5.
