Series 12 of Red Dwarf hasn't even hit our screens yet, but in true sci-fi style, thoughts are already turning to the future.

No, series 13 hasn't been officially confirmed, but it's looking promising, as the cast and crew have said their new home of Dave are keen for more Red Dwarf.

"I mean, we're all up for doing more," Robert Llewellyn (aka Kryten) told Digital Spy. "There's nothing confirmed."

"They want more," series co-creator and chief writer Doug Naylor added. "It's just a question of working out schedules and everything."

Red Dwarf has been pulling in some impressive ratings for Dave, so we're not surprised that the powers that be want the series to continue. But regardless of ratings success, the cast and crew are adamant that they wouldn't do more episodes without some solid material.

"Being successful and critically acclaimed kind of vindicates the decision," Craig Charles said of the revival's huge success.

"Because there's a legacy there, and you don't want to f**k the legacy up. I didn't want to go back to some shite."

"And I think we're like that with every series," Naylor continued. "We don't want to overstay our welcome, but equally, if it's being well-received, you know, we'll do more."

Red Dwarf series 12 begins on Thursday, October 12 on Dave.

The head then confirmed people should arrive at the school at 8am. A spokesperson for the school said: "We don't wish to make a comment at this time but we expect Ofsted will turn up tomorrow." The headteacher has since asked people not to show up at the school. She shared on Twitter: "Please can people not come to school now in the morning. I have to protect our children, our staff and our community. "Please for the protection of our children and staff."
