David Beckham is once again proving how much of a great guy he is without even trying after stopping to help an elderly lady who collapsed on a London street today (January 20).

David was reportedly driving near his home in London when he spotted the woman on the side of the road and pulled up to offer his assistance, according to the Daily Mail.

While an ambulance was called and a passing fire engine was flagged down for help, David helped by apparently parking his car by a traffic island to stop other cars from getting too close and gave the woman a bottle of water too.

According to the Mail, a spokesman for the London Fire Brigade confirmed Beckham's help with a statement that read: "At around 16.45 a fire engine was flagged down to an elderly woman who had tripped when crossing the road and fell and hit her head.

"David Beckham was parked nearby and had already given her a bottle of water. He assisted and when the ambulance arrived was thanked and told he could move on."

It conflicts slightly with this eye witness account, but all thing's considered we think we can all just agree that David Beckham is quite the good samaritan, right?

When he's not saving women who've hurt themselves in London, David is mainly proving himself to be the most dad-like dad ever by embarrassing his children on social media, most recently by singing along to son Cruz's Christmas single despite the boy's pleas for him to stop.

And then there's always the adorable time just this week when he posed for a lovely photo with "very special lady" Cathy, who's worked at Manchester United for 49 years and used to look after the star in his footballing days.

Altogether now: awwwww.
