David Beckham spends quality time with son Cruz during family holiday

David Beckham has praised having “special time” with his son Cruz as the family continue their holiday in Italy.

The football boss, 44, shared photographs of his youngest son, 14, riding a bike with his nephew, Finlay, in the countryside.

Under the sweet snap of him and his son, which he posted on Instagram, he said: “Special time with Cruzie.”

Beckham also published a photo of the cousins embracing sprinklers in a field in the sunshine, with the caption “Cousins staying cool”.

Meanwhile his daughter Harper Seven, eight, indulged in her passion for horses by cleaning out one pony’s hooves and plaiting its mane.

“Jobs for the day”, the former England pro wrote in his story.

Beckham, his wife Victoria, 45, and their other children Brooklyn, 20, and Romeo, 16, are spending several weeks away together on holiday.

Victoria also posted images of Harper posing with her brothers Brooklyn and Cruz, who are known for their close relationships.

In one snap, she captioned it: “Having the best time with her brothers! X”.

The updates come after her husband sent a message of support to Manchester City forward Leroy Sane, 23, after it was announced he was injured.

The player tore a ligament during the Community Shield against Liverpool and is set to miss the majority of the season.

Despite Beckham, who is president of Inter Milan, previously playing for City rivals Manchester United, he showed support for the player.

Writing on Instagram, underneath an image of the pair, he said: “This is the first day to recovery my friend , you are an unbelievable player and more importantly a great person.

“You will be back on the pitch in no time at all! You have family, friends and teammates ready and waiting for your return.”
