When it comes to fame, there are not many more well known faces than former England captain and style icon David Beckham - but even he is prone to feeling starstruck when meeting his heroes.
The Manchester United winger couldn’t hide his pleasure at meeting singer Stevie Nicks after posing for a photo with the Fleetwood Mac legend following their gig in San Francisco.
The star, married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, took to social media to share his joy.
"What a night in San Fran seeing Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks," he wrote, alongside an image of the pair posing for the camera hugging.
He shared the same photo on his Instagram Stories, and captioned it: "OH MY GOD. Stevie Nicks gave me a cuddle," along with a huge heart emoji.
Other images shared by Beckham show him posing with Mick Fleetwood and keyboard player Christine McVie.
Before the gig, the dad-of-four spoke at a global summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York as an ambassador for Unicef, demanding action to protect and promote children's rights.
The 44-year-old told of his childhood dreams of being a professional footballer, and demanded more be done to help children achieve their dreams, saying the future "belongs to children".
He said: "Please join me in this mission for children, and let’s listen to our young people, because they will show us the way.
"Today on World Children’s Day, let’s make new promises to children of the world. We promise to listen to you. We promise to learn from you. We promise to act for you and together, we promise to work harder to protect your dreams."
