David Cassidy has left the majority of his estate to his 26-year-old son, Beau, with his actress daughter, Katie Cassidy, being left completely out of his will, it has been reported.

In documents obtained by The Blast, David’s $150,000 (£112,000) assets have been left to his son Beau, with Beau’s three half-siblings receiving “music memorabilia”, and Katie getting nothing.

David made his decision about his famous daughter incredibly clear in the documents, specifying: “It is my specific intent not to provide any benefits hereunder to Katherine Evelyn Cassidy.”

The will was written in 2004.

Katie and David have had a strained relationship over the years, with David previously admitting that she was solely raised by her mum, former model Sherry Williams.

The star told People magazine in 2009: “I didn’t have to parent her.”

Still, when news of David’s deteriorating health broke, Katie rushed to be at her father’s bedside – leaving a fan convention for her TV show ‘Arrow’ early in order to be with him.

When he passed, Katie publicly paid tribute to David, writing: “Words cant express the solace our family’s received from all the love and support during this trying time. My father’s last words were ‘So much wasted time.’

“This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute…. thank you.”

David passed away from acute liver and kidney failure on 21 November.
