David Haye has been released from hospital after suffering an Achilles injury during his defeat to Tony Bellew on Saturday evening.
Haye's trainer Shane McGuigan threw in the towel in the 11th round after the 36-year-old had been knocked out of the ring by his opponent.
He had persisted for some time having suffered the foot injury in the sixth round and was taken to hospital after the shock defeat.
But Sky Sports are reporting doctors have decided against surgery at this stage and Haye is now recovering at home.
Speaking after the fight, Haye - who had flown to Germany in the build-up to the fight to manage an Achillies problem - refused to fall back on the injury as a reason for the loss.
"It is what it is, he beat me fair and square and there are no excuses.
"I gave him my best, he took it and gave it back to me. I couldn't take it. If he would oblige me the chance I would go to his hometown and if the fans want to see that up-and-down fight again then we can give it to them."
Bellew told BBC Radio Five Live: "I'm just happy David's home and healthy and safe.
