David Schwimmer and his wife Zoë Buckman have sadly announced that they're taking "time apart".
The couple – who have been together for more than ten years in total – released a joint statement on Wednesday (April 5) to appeal for privacy in this difficult time.
"It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship," they told US Weekly.
"Our priority is, of course, our daughter's happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family."
Schwimmer met Buckman, an artist, while he was filming the cult comedy Run Fatboy Run in the UK back in 2007. They would get engaged and marry three years later.
To celebrate their first anniversary, the pair renewed their wedding vows in front of Schwimmer's Friends co-star Matt LeBlanc, Westworld's Thandie Newton and director Oliver Parker in London.
Schwimmer and Buckman are the parents of a young daughter called Cleo, who'll be turning 6 years old next month.
Prior to his relationship with Zoë Buckman, Schwimmer was famously in a long-term relationship with Natalie Imbruglia and also dated Stargate actress Mili Avital.
Schwimmer has most recently been seen on the small screen in The People v O J Simpson: American Crime Story, playing the football star's one-time confidant (and the father of reality superstars) Robert Kardashian.
