Theatre staff stepped in, and the disruptive person left after 15 minutes.A show spokesperson explained that pausing the performance is standard when issues arise, helping things get back on track quickly.Despite the hiccup, Macbeth, starring Tennant and Cush Jumbo as Lady Macbeth, has been a box office hit, making over £2.1 million in one day. The play had earlier cancellations in November due to illness in the cast.Talking to The Guardian, Tennant said he finds the play surprisingly unpredictable, calling it more intense and fast-paced than other Shakespeare works he’s done.
