David Tennant's wife Georgia Moffett has revealed their son cut his long hair for a good cause.

Wilfred, 7, has given away his long blonde hair to the Little Princess Trust to help children who are battling cancer.

Explaining the cause on their JustGiving fundraising page, Georgia wrote: "When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity.

"We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise."
