Former Big Brother host Davina McCall has shared exactly how she would like to feature on the show, ahead of its ITV relaunch.

During an interview on Fleur East's breakfast show on Hits Radio, the presenter revealed she would love to use her famous 'fancy another one' phrase one last time.

"I only want to appear once and then I will never be on it again and I shall watch from my sofa, but I think I should be pre-titles and I think I should say, 'Hey, fancy another one?'," she said.

During her time presenting the show on Channel 4 from 2000 to 2010, Davina would use the phrase before introducing a new housemate - with the clips resurfacing across social media years after the show ended.

Following the reboot announcement, it was revealed the show will now be headed by presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best.

Davina added that she'd been in touch with AJ to wish her luck on the series, adding: "I thought I'd just get in touch with her and say so chuffed for you and then told her all the reasons why she's absolutely going to boss it.

"Firstly, it's that thing of being able to immerse yourself into it, I know she's just going to throw herself into it and love it, but secondly being able to be funny and also be serious."

Meanwhile, Davina will be seen in new dating series My Mum, Your Dad, which features single parents hoping for a second chance at love.

Speaking about the show ahead of its premiere, McCall revealed it can sometimes be "hard to watch" as a twist means the kids are tasked with making their parents' romantic decisions.

Big Brother returns to ITV2 and ITVX in October. My Mum, Your Dad starts September 11 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
