Davina McCall's friend shares update after visiting star following brain surgery
Davina McCall's closest friend has provided an update as she paid a visit to the TV star who is recuperating from brain surgery at home. Sarah Hiscox, an artist and writer, shared a selfie with Davina on Instagram, stating that despite undergoing a major operation, the 57-year-old star is "still serving style".
In the photo, both women are seen smiling at the camera, with Sarah in a black jacket and Davina sporting a fur coat and a black hat, reports the Mirror. Captioning the image, Sarah wrote: "1st Home visit. Major brain surgery but still serving style. I love you so much."
Davina responded to the post saying: "What a tonic x." She added: "You are the best Sarah," praising her friend for standing by her through "thick and thin".

Fans expressed their well-wishes for Davina's recovery, with one commenting: "Such an inspiration." A second said: "Amazing woman", while a third said: "You two are so adorable, you have the best friendship."
The update came a day after Davina spoke publicly for the first time since her brain surgery in a new video. She confessed that it had been "bad" but expressed gratitude for being at home with boyfriend Michael and her stepmother caring for her. Post-operation, she revealed that she was having difficulties with her short-term memory but remained optimistic that she can "work on it".
The Masked Singer judge underwent surgery to remove the 14mm benign brain tumour, which was unexpectedly discovered during a health scan she had while speaking at a menopause company event. Initially confident about her health, Davina was taken aback by the diagnosis.
In the message shared on Monday (November 25), Davina expressed her gratitude for all the messages of support. She said: "Hi, I just thought I'd check in! A heartfelt thank to everyone who has messaged me or been in touch. It's meant the world. It's been bad.
"It's just really nice to be back home. I'm on the other side. My short term memory is a bit remiss. But that is something that I can work on so I'm really happy about that. I'm writing everything I'm doing to keep myself feeling safe.
"I feel unbelievably grateful in my life right now, so thanks for everything. I'm on the mend, I'm resting, I'm sleeping loads and I feel really good. I just feel very lucky."
