Multiple lightning strikes were captured in stunning timelapse footage as a supercell storm loomed over central Kansas on May 26.
Michael Snyder, an aviation weather forecaster for Alaska Airlines, shot this video as the storm was moving over I-70 in Ellis County. “Lightning show, what a day!,” Snyder tweeted.
The National Weather Service in Wichita had warned that the stormy weather could bring winds of up to 80 mph, “tennis ball-sized hail,” flooding, and a few tornadoes. Credit: Michael Snyder via Storyful
