Daytime Emmys Set New December Airdate on CBS and Paramount+
The 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony has finally announced a new airdate. Originally set for June, but delayed due to the writers and actors being on strike, the long-awaited event will now air on Friday, Dec. 15 at 9/8c on CBS.
East coast viewers will catch the ceremony live, while west coasters will get the pre-recorded version. The Daytime Emmys can also be watched next-day on Paramount+, or live if your subscription plan allows.

Hosted by returning duo Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, this year’s Daytime Emmys will be held at the Westin Bonaventure hotel in Los Angeles.
In terms of nominations, ABC’s General Hospital leads the soap opera pack with 19 nods, including for Outstanding Daytime Drama and 11 total acting nominees. CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful in turn amassed 14 total nominations, closely followed by CBS’ The Young and the Restless (with 13) and NBC/Peacock’s Days of Our Lives (10).
Among non-soaps programming, The Kelly Clarkson Show leads with 11 total nominations, including for Daytime Talk Series and Host. Click here for a full breakdown of this year’s nominees.
